Kevin Brown has claimed Leeds Rhinos don’t look together at the moment.

The Rhinos played in the Grand Final last year but have found themselves outside the play-off places at present after back to back defeats and in the mind of Kevin Brown the Rhinos don’t look together.

This comes after Rohan Smith confirmed a heated altercation between Tom Holroyd and Harry Newman after the defeat against Salford Red Devils last week.

Brown said on BBC Five Live:

“I just don’t think they look like a together group, you often see players arguing on the field and alright it’s just a moment that happens once or twice a year but it’s happening quite regularly at Leeds. Then you hear this stuff about them arguing on the way off and there is a time and a place.

“They’ve got lots and lots of good individual players but as a team at the minute they don’t look together.

“They got rid of their captain Kruise Leeming, there was obviously something going on there and I’m not sure about the half-backs and if they’re contributing as expected. Sezer and Austin when they came together I thought it’d be a really good partnership because it worked in Canberra but it’s just not clicked.”

He also claimed that Salford terrorised the Rhinos last week:

“When you talk about big clubs Leeds is a huge club and it’s probably the hardest place to go and Salford have just been there and terrorised them on their own patch.

“There’s something clearly wrong. Personnel wise they’ve got good players but consistently they’re just not firing.”
