Kevin Brown has his say on whether Wakefield are better or worse than Toulouse

Wakefield have done it very tough to start the season.

They have lost all 11 of their games so far, have failed to score in five of them and have only scored more than one try on three occasions.

However, Kevin Brown believes that this Wakefield side are better than the Toulouse Olympique side who were relegated last year despite a mid-season run of form which saw them defeat the likes of Wakefield.

He said on BBC Five Live: “There are definite positives and I do think they’ll catch someone at home. I think they’re a better team than Toulouse and Toulouse ended up getting their act together and winning a few games.

“It will snowball, once they start scoring a few tries and they get in front I think that belief will come back quite quick but it needs to happen soon.”

He also said Trinity won’t give up:

“Wakey aren’t going to give up. They’re used to feeling this pressure, they’re used to being in and around the bottom of the table and then finishing the year with a bit of a run.

“Castleford not so much, they’re normally in and around the playoffs so this will be quite a lot different for some of their players.”
