Premier Sports went live again last night in a hotly contested Championship clash between Halifax Panthers and Leigh Centurions.
Alongside host Emma Jones, pundits Kevin Brown and Leon Pryce were calling the game alongside Mark Wilson.
And, both were in awe of one particular player following yet another strong showing.
That man was Leigh’s Nene MacDonald, who has now scored eight tries in seven games after joining from the Norths Devils ahead of the 2022 season.
Kevin Brown was waxing lyrical about the powerful South Sea Islander.
“He’s the form player in the league, this man is almost grabbing hold of the game when Leigh are struggling,” Brown said on Premier Sports.
“Last week he scored a try like a forward, he ran over two players.
“I wouldn’t be surprised to see a number of Super League teams watching him.
“He can win you a game. they struggled against Newcastle and Bradford and it was the individual brilliance rather than a collective manner and Nene can bring that.”
Even Leon Pryce revealed he would part with his money to watch him.
“I wouldn’t mind spending money and paying to watch him play – he always comes up with big plays,” Pryce said.
