Josh Griffin has made a defiant post on Twitter, defending his reasons to delete the social media site.
The Hull centre maintained that he will no longer be using Twitter for the next few weeks because of the fact he is bed bound and that he couldn’t give a “flying f__k what anyone says”.
Griffin has been the focal point for most of the rugby league fraternity following Hull’s defeat to St Helens in the Challenge Cup semi-final, with the centre suffering a ruptured Achilles tendon early in the first-half.
It’s an injury that will require surgery with Griffin sitting out the rest of the season.
Ive logged back on to clear this up. Il be taking this time away from socials media to keep my mind strong and allow me to concentrate on my recovery. Thanks for the support from most of you, the rest couldn't walk a mile in my shoes. See you soon ⚫⚪
