Josh Charnley provides latest update

Josh Charnley looks to be incorporating some new kind of training in a bid to improve his fitness ahead of the 2022 Super League season.

The Warrington Wolves winger has had a question mark over his head regarding his future after being stunningly linked with an exit around a fortnight ago.

However, his modelling of the new Warrington kit makes it appear as though Charnley is here to stay at the Halliwell Jones Stadium and he looks raring to go for the new season.

Charnley has been at Warrington since 2018, scoring 50 tries in 87 games following a spell in rugby union with the Sale Sharks.

He had previously scored 162 tries in 171 appearances for hometown club Wigan before moving into the 15-a-side code in 2016.

But, he looks to be getting his head down in a bid to impress new head coach Daryl Powell, who left Castleford Tigers after eight-and-a-half years at the Jungle.

Whilst Charnley is still at the Halliwell Jones, the likes of outside backs Tom Lineham and Jake Mamo aren’t, with Powell putting his own stamp on his squad with signings such as Greg Minikin and Peter Mata’utia.
