Sydney Roosters young gun Joseph Suaalii has revealed the latest on his future following latest speculation.
Suaalii signed with the Roosters ahead of the 2021 NRL season after growing up playing both codes and earning interest from all corners.
The NRL was actually so keen to ensure Suaalii stayed in rugby league that it altered its own rules to allow the Sydney prodigy to make his debut before the age of 18.
And, the Roosters teenager has spoken of his desire to stay at the club past this year.
“I’m just focused on this year now. I love it here, I don’t want to leave,” Suaalii told the Sydney Morning Herald.
“Everyone has looked after me and now I just want to play footy.”
