Canberra Raiders have confirmed the re-signing of New Zealand international Jordan Rapana after a short stint in rugby union.
The 30-year-old was with the Raiders since 2014, making 113 appearances and scoring 69 tries, but made the decision to switch codes at the end of last season, after helping his side reach the NRL Grand Final.
He signed with Japanese side the Panasonic Wild Knights but has now returned to the Australian capital, signing a deal until the end of 2020.
Canberra CEO Don Furner told the official club website: “We’re thrilled to be able to have Jordan join us for the remainder of the 2020 season.
“We know what quality he brings to the side and he adds another dimension of depth in our outside backs.”
“He’s a popular member of the playing group and it will be great to have his character around the dressing room.”
