Jon Wilkin raises Leeds Rhinos concern

Last week Leeds Rhinos showed what they can do as they came back from 22-8 down to defeat Catalans Dragons 32-22 ending their unbeaten start to the season.

The Rhinos were brilliant in the second half of that game leading Jon Wilkin to say on Sky Sports:

“One of the big talking points for me was the Leeds Rhinos. Their form whose form has been questioned and they came up against Catalans Dragons who were unbeaten up until this point in the season.

“It was a really memorable performance on a sunny afternoon at Headingley with Harry Newman back in the team and some of their star players really form and they were allowed to get over the top of Catalans Dragons.

“What a way to finish the game off as well with Richie Myler breaking away and finding Harry Newman, one of the stars of the game, to finish it off.”

However, as he praised the Rhinos he did raise one important question: can Leeds now introduce some important consistency into their game and play like that every week?

He said: “It was an impeccable performance from Leeds but the question mark remains: can they keep reproducing that, and being consistent for a long period of time.”

We will get to see an answer of some kind to that question tonight as Leeds Rhinos travel to Hull KR.
