Johnathan Thurston comes out of retirement to sign for Toronto Wolfpack

Rugby League legend Johnathan Thurston has come out of retirement to sign a lucrative two-year deal with the Toronto Wolfpack.

The 35-year-old retired as one of the sport’s greatest ever players last year, but he will return to play in the Championship at the start of May.

On his move to the Canadian club, Thurston said: “If you believe this, you will believe anything. April fools!”
