Leon Pryce has been making waves as a pundit since being appointed onto the staff on Premier Sports and Channel 4.
One of the most knowledgeable players to have taken to the rugby league field, Leon Pryce has transferred that onto the microphone.
His depth of understanding of the game and ability to read a lot of players’ minds on the field makes him one of the most captivating pundits to listen to.
And, he is also incredibly honest about the game and players that he is covering. No wonder then that Premier Sports has snapped him up for their punditry alongside Channel 4.
Current Castleford Tigers star Joe Westerman is also fond of Pryce’s commentary and took to Twitter to express his views.
Westerman said: “@leonpryce6 on channel 4! Honest opinions and talks sense! Even gets a bit giddy when something good happens.”
Westerman made the move to Castleford Tigers in the off-season after a spell at Wakefield Trinity rejuvenated his rugby league career.
The loose-forward initially came through the Tigers’ youth set-up before moving on to Hull FC, Warrington Wolves and then Toronto Wolfpack.
Westerman spent two seasons at Wakefield, registering 34 appearances but earned a big move to Castleford after two brilliant years at Belle Vue.
