Jesse Sene-Lefao sends ominous message to Championship rivals

Jesse Sene-Lefao seems to be more pumped than ever to deliver for his new side in the 2022 season.

When the Samoa international first arrived on UK shores back in 2017 with the Castleford Tigers, he embraced the small town and its people like few overseas imports before him.

And, having made the move to local rivals Featherstone Rovers after five seasons at the Jungle, Sene-Lefao looks even more determined to make an impact.

His dedication to the cause of Featherstone appears unrivalled and he delivered yet another ominous message to Championship rivals on his social media page.

Sene-Lefao stated that togetherness is the key: “Personal meaning is the way we connect to a wider team purpose.

“If our values and beliefs are aligned with the values and beliefs of the organization, then we will work harder towards its success.

“If not, our individual motivation and purpose will suffer, and so will the organization.”

“Getting the number 12 Jersey is a very special moment for me and I feel so privileged to wear that number,” the 32-year-old told the Featherstone website.

“There have been some great players who have worn this jersey so I hope I can represent those before me, do the number proud and hopefully add my own flavour to it next season.

“I have really bought into the culture of the club so far and spent time learning about its rich mining history and how rugby league was the thing that brought the community of Featherstone together through tough times.

“Learning about the significance of Featherstone, the badge and its people and how they have the attitude to never back down and work hard has had a great impact on me.”
