Jesse Sene-Lefao provides update following Castleford exit amidst move to rivals

Jesse Sene-Lefao has posted an emotional farewell following his exit from the Castleford Tigers.

The 31-year-old had been with the Tigers since joining for the 2017 season and has been a firm fan favourite since coming to England from NRL side Cronulla Sharks.

With over 100 Castleford appearances to his name, Sene-Lefao in his five seasons as a Castleford player helped the club reach both the Super League Grand Final and the Challenge Cup Final, as well as lift the League Leaders’ Shield in that season back in 2017.

The Samoan is widely expected to join Featherstone Rovers as he looks to go part-time alongside his other business ventures.

Sene-Lefao has recently taken over a pub in Pontefract whilst he continues to be heavily involved in estate agents Logic Lettings Ltd.

He is also one of a quartet that has established the ‘Talk your Walk’ alongside former Castleford stars Quentin Laulu-Togaga’e and Peter Mata’utia and current Tigers forward Suaia Matagi.

Sene-Lefao posted on social media: “Thankful for the brotherhood 🙏🏽 I’m blessed!!! Difference between a VISION and a GOAL is the finish line.

“A goal is knowing exactly where and when you’ve completed your goal.

“A vision is Knowing exactly what the finish line looks like but no idea how far away it is…

“Job not done.”
