Josh Griffin was shown a red card yesterday as Hull FC lost to St Helens in the Challenge Cup.
Griffin was sent off for something he said to referee Chris Kendall.
Jamie Peacock has his say on the matter: “None of us know what has been said. For it go from a yellow to a red, it is not a polite word that he has been called. He has clearly said something serious.
“We have seen it on a slightly different note with Josh McGuire. His career is over from the language he has used.
“It is unacceptable. I don’t think you should talk back to referees. You are never going to change your mind.”
Peacock also called for Griffin to apologise for the incident:

“I’d like to see him come out and apologise for it, to the team to the club and say look I got it wrong.”
Hull went on to lose 32-18 despite being level at 12-all at the interval.
Hull FC notched tries through Griffin himself after a great break by Tex Hoy, Andre Savelio as well as a try from Jake Trueman which gave Hull hope in the second half after errors from Jack Welsby and Tee Ritson.
