Jamie Jones-Buchanan claims Super League club are “falling apart”

The Super League season is at a very interesting juncture with teams like Wigan Warriors and Warrington Wolves desperately battling to try and force their way into the top four or top two whilst Leeds Rhinos, Hull KR, Hull FC and Salford Red Devils battle for a place in the top six.

Meanwhile, Leigh Leopards will be eyeing up Catalans Dragons at the top of the league as will St Helens.

It has been a truly amazing and captivating season from start to finish and a number of teams have looked like the Leopards do now – as new contenders.

But many have fallen by the wayside. Huddersfield Giants were bigged up at the start of the season but have fallen away whilst Warrington’s form has stalled after their eight wins in a row to start the season.

Another team who were seen as the dark horses earlier this year was indeed Hull KR but their play-off hopes are now looking rather shaky after defeats to Hull and Leigh lately.

Injuries haven’t helped either but as big games await against Leeds and then against Wigan in the Challenge Cup semi-finals, Jamie Jones-Buchanan has said they’re falling apart.

He said: “I remember watching them at the start of the season, they were great to watch but with injuries and things it feels like they are falling apart.”

The Robins will now work to prove him wrong.
