James Graham set to return to St Helens for event

James Graham is set to return to St Helens in the summer for an event.

The flame-haired enforcer hasn’t fraternised with the Saints fans since leaving for the first time in his career back in 2011 given the outbreak of COVID-19 during the 2020 season.

Graham was part of the St Helens side that picked up the 2020 Super League Grand Final trophy with an 8-4 victory over bitter rivals Wigan Warriors.

In June, however, the Merseysider will finally be given the hero’s welcome he deserves with a night dedicated to him, titledĀ The Second Coming.

Graham told the Ticket Source: “I can not wait, I am looking forward to coming back and actually been able to catch up with everyone this time. I hardly got to say hello to anyone last time I was home never mind say goodbye.”

Pete Emmett will host the show with the schedule as followed:

13.15 VIP MEET AND GREET LTD TO 20 GUESTS.
14.00 PICTURES WITH JAMES GRAHAM.
PRINTED ON THE DAY ALONG WITH DETAILS OF HIS GLITTERING SAINTS CAREER.
14.30 BIG SCREEN ENTRANCE VIDEO
14.40 DINNER IS SERVED/TABLE INTERVIEWS WITH PAST PLAYERS.
15.30 JAMES GRAHAM WITH PETE EMMETT
16.30 INTERVAL
17.00 AUDIENCE Q/A.

During his career at Saints, Graham registered 250 appearances in two different spells before a move to Canterbury Bulldogs in the NRL saw him heralded Down Under for the way he played the game.

Graham also spent time at St George Illawarra Dragons before he moved back to Lancashire for the rest of the 2020 season to help steer Saints to Grand Final glory, with Luke Thompson going the other way.
