Jamaica vs Ireland: Kick-off time, Venue, TV channel and Team News

In the World Cup’s fourth game, the second of today after an exhilarating opening day, Jamaica make their World Cup debut against Ireland.

Ireland are led by some brilliant Super League stars as well as NRL stand-off Luke Keary. Whilst Jamaica have British based talent of their own.

Here’s everything you need to know for the game:

The game kicks off at 17:00 at Headingley.

TV channel

TV coverage starts at 16:30 on BBC Two.

Team News

Jamaica have two-time Super League Champion Ben Jones-Bishop set to play at fullback as Huddersfield Giants stars Michael Lawrence and Ash Golding feature in the forwards with Golding set to play at 13 having been awarded that shirt number. Dom Young’s brother Alex will play as will Bradford youngster AJ Wallace.

As for Ireland, they have an impressive spine with Keary supported by Joe Keyes and Richie Myler. The Senior twins will be on the wings as another pair of brothers in the shape of Toby and George King will add quality. The 19-man squads are below:
