Future Leeds Rhinos back Jake Connor has given a major hint as to where he could line up for Brad Arthur’s Leeds Rhinos side in 2025.
Mid-season, it seemed that he could be on the move, being made available on loan – and the Rhinos seemed to be top of the list of interested sides, although this never materialised.
However, he has now signed on a permanent two-year deal from 2025, and will provide a versatile option in Brad Arthur’s first full season.
Leeds Rhinos have signed England international Jake Connor, 29, from Huddersfield Giants on a two year contract.

With Lachie Miller at full-back, though, it seems Connor might just find himself playing in a different role next season.

Last week, Connor said: “In the early days of my career I was that versatile player and then I wanted to nail down one position.
“Now I am at that point where I am not really bothered, I just want to win.”
He’s had a rough season, but looked good at full-back on occasion despite the Giants struggling in 2024.
Almost an ever-present this year, he certainly divides opinion but is capable of real quality on his day.
The former Hull FC man has featured prominently both at full-back and at stand-off across his career, as well as some appearances in the centres.
However, he has now, in an interview, dropped a major hint as to where he could be.
Speaking about Ryan Hall, in the club’s BOX2 podcast, he said:
“Obviously I worked with him for England before, so I’ve known him from over the years
“He’s one of the best wingers I’ve ever played with and we all know what he brings.
“That was one of the things they identified, the coaching staff, they wanted an aerial threat and you know, we’ve got it with me and Hall.”
