This week we saw what many people believe is the pinnacle of rugby league.
That’s because we saw New South Wales and Queensland clash in the opening game of the State of Origin.
It was a remarkable game with the Maroons devastated by injury and down to 12 men with 10 minutes to go, Queensland scored twice to turn around a 18-16 deficit to claim a remarkable 26-18 triumph.
That was followed up by an equally captivating clash in the Women’s State of Origin which showed just how high level the women’s game is especially down under.
However, one fan took a shot at the women’s game and he would regret is as former Wigan Warriors and Salford Red Devils star Jackson Hastings took him down a peg or two as he hit back at the comment on social media branding them a “loser” and inviting him down to a training session.
“The fact you find that comment funny is embarrassing you bell end. And the best part of it all is each one of them would absolutely knock you flat on your arse champ. So get down to a training session so we can all have the best laugh in ages at you, loser.”
