Jackson Hastings will be leaving Super League to join Wests Tigers in the NRL from 2022 onwards after playing four-and-a-half seasons in the UK.
Hastings made a move to Super League side Salford Red Devils midway through the 2018 season after off-field incidents plagued his time Down Under.
However, it was a match made in heaven as Hastings propelled Salford to a Grand Final before helping to do the same for Wigan Warriors last season.
And, the Australian has spoken about just how grateful he is to the two clubs for helping him through a rough patch in his life.
Hastings wrote: “Never in my wildest dreams did I think this troubled kid from Australia would have to move halfway across the world, pursuing a dream and have been so lucky.”
