Jack Walker is returning to Super League as he completes an immediate transfer to Super League high flyers Hull KR.
As part of the deal however he will be available to play for Bradford Bulls for the rest of the season until called upon by the Robins.
Walker, with 70 Super League games under his belt at 23 years-old, will bring cover to the fullback position after Ethan Ryan suffered a broken jaw last week against Wigan Warriors.
Having scored 3 tries in 5 games this season for the Bulls, Jack will bring speed and skill with the ball in hand when called upon to the Robins’ first team.
Willie Peters said: ‘We need some depth in our fullback position with Ethan (Ryan) breaking his jaw, so Jack (Walker) will give us much needed depth there.
‘Jack has played at the highest domestic level and won a competition with Leeds. In my eyes, he’s a genuine Super League player and will fit in well with us at Hull KR. Also, it’s important that Jack plays every week so when he’s not in our squad, Jack will be available for Bradford.
Walker is still the youngest ever player to win a Super League Grand Final breaking Stevie Ward’s record in the 2017 Grand Final at the age of just 18 and a few months.
Walker scored a hat trick on his senior debut for Leeds Rhinos at 17 against Doncaster in the Challenge Cup but has had an injury hit career.
The fullback left Leeds at the end of 2022 after a loan spell with Hull FC.
