Jack Sinfield made his Super League debut in 2022.

The teenage halfback, the son of Leeds Rhinos legend Kevin Sinfield, played in the Easter Monday clash against Castleford Tigers as Leeds struggled with an injury crisis at the bottom of the league.

He was then rather impressive in the home wins over Toulouse Olympique and Hull KR at Headingley as Leeds began to turn things around in a journey which would culminate in a Grand Final appearance.

He would then play two further games in France against Toulouse and Catalans Dragons and was named in the 21-man squad for the Grand Final against St Helens.

The day after that, Sinfield kicked two drop goals in Leeds Rhinos’ Under 18s’ win over the Saints in their Grand Final.

A real star of the future, Sinfield wore 32 in 2022 which is the first shirt number his dad wore as a Rhino as he debuted against Sheffield Eagles in 1997.

However, it seems in 2023 he will wear the number 29 shirt based off a picture of the young halfback on the Rhinos’ Facebook page in pre-season with the number 29 on his chest.

Derrell Olpherts looks set to take Richie Myler’s number 16 shirt whilst Myler will likely move to the number one shirt.

Harry Newman seems set to keep the number three shirt and Tom Holroyd will keep the number 18 based on the pre-season photos.
