Jack Sinfield has been included in Leeds Rhinos’ starting line-up to face Castleford Tigers today.
Castleford take on Leeds, rejuvenated following their 34-4 win over Wakefield Trinity.
They took Trinity to the cleaners, posting five tries to Wakefield’s one whilst Leeds will undoubtedly be tired.
Their 20-20 draw over Huddersfield Giants went into 90 minutes after the two sides could not be separated after 80 minutes of normal time.
Castleford boss Lee Radford confirmed his side had no injuries from victory over Wakefield though Adam Milner suffered an awful, deep cut to his knee. James Clare comes in for Greg Eden who has likely been rested due to previous hamstring issues.
Leeds will be without Jack Walker after the fullback suffered an injury in the draw over Huddersfield, with Max Simpson coming in.
There is also a place for Jack Sinfield, son of superstar Kevin, who has yet to make a first-team appearance for the Rhinos after coming through the club’s scholarship system.
Jack played in Leeds’ Christmas friendly win over Wakefield, starring with a brilliant kicking game, but has had to wait patiently for his debut.
Now, though, Jamie Jones-Buchanan has rung the changes and given the teenager his chance.
17 year olds Max Simpson and Jack Sinfield will make their debuts this afternoon after being named in Jamie Jones-Buchanan's starting line up at Castleford
