Yesterday, Hull KR booked their place in the Super League semi-finals for the first time in their history thanks to a superb win over Warrington. The Robins outplayed the Wolves in every department and came away with a memorable 19-0 win. That was my view anyway, but what was yours? How did social media react to last night’s rugby?
Unsurprisingly, one young man who stole the show received plenty of attention on Twitter. Mikey Lewis scored a classic solo try to cap off a brilliant individual showing and fans from all across Super League took to social media to praise him.
Is there a better, more exciting young half back in super league, than Mikey Lewis at the moment? Must have a shout for an England call up

How good is Mikey Lewis?! Sensational talent. Will go far in the game if he’s allowed to play his off the cuff style. So good to watch!

Hull KR fans were of course the happiest yesterday and used the win to take aim at Hull FC, their fans and their players.

One fan pointed out the difference between Warrington and Hull KR in terms of their recruitment and spending power. Despite that, it was Hull KR yesterday who booked their place in the semi-finals.

Another took the time to compare the high-profile names in the Warrington spine with the homegrown talent of the Robins as well as the class of Jordan Abdull.
Darryl Clark or jez litten
Gareth widdop or Jordan abdull
George Williams or mikey lewis
3 lads from hull on wages no where any of them from wire 👏👏👏 what a massive 80 mins from all 3— craig greaves (@greavsie76) September 25, 2021
Elsewhere, Warrington fans were having a torrid time and saw no way forward for the club.
If we get nilled at home to fucking Hull KR in the playoffs then we may as well liquidate

The saving grace for this particular fan was the fact the Wolves don’t have to face the daunting task of taking on St Helens next week.
At least we don’t have to visit St Helens next week #SmallWins

The main talking point coming out of the game for most supporters however was the guarantee that a new team will play in this year’s Grand Final which can only be a good thing for the sport.
Hull KR or Catalan Dragons will be at Old Trafford in two weeks time…. A new team! 👏👏
