Warrington boss Steve Price has confirmed that star Gareth Widdop will be missing for a few weeks through injury.
The Warrington halfback left the field injured late on during Thursday’s 44-18 victory over Leigh.
“It’s a shame for Gaz. I thought he’d been playing some fantastic footy,” Price said.
“He’ll be missing a couple of weeks – I can’t give an exact date but it’s going to be a few weeks.
“Gaz is a pretty good healer and is good with all his rehab, so hopefully it’s not too long and we can get him back to the form he’s been showing.”
