Important notice given to Castleford Tigers fans ahead of Warrington Wolves clash

Castleford Tigers fans have been given an important notice ahead of tonight’s clash with Warrington Wolves.

The game kicks off at 8pm, live on Sky Sports, but there has been a travel notice given out to Tigers supporters crossing over the Pennines.

The Castleford twitter page revealed: “⚠️ Travel notice for supporters heading to the Halliwell Jones Stadium to cheer Cas on tonight.

“The A49 south from Jct9 of the M62 closes at 7pm for roadworks, meaning traffic coming off the M62 will be diverted.”

The Tigers are aiming to get their first win over the season after being on the receiving end of a 26-16 loss to Salford Red Devils in round one.

Castleford will be without Danny Richardson who succumbed to a neck injury in that defeat as well as Adam Milner and Nathan Massey who have both been injured for the opening rounds of the Super League season.

That means that Gareth O’Brien will likely come in whilst Cain Robb has also been named in Lee Radford’s 21-man squad.
