Last night, Hull KR claimed a vital win away at Leigh to boost their play-off hopes. That said, they had to see off a scare from the Centurions who took a 28-22 lead with less than 20 minutes to go. Well, that was my take but what was yours? How did social media react to yesterday’s game.
A scintillating and close contest made for enjoyable watching for the vast majority of viewers. That said, some felt the game was sullied by more questionable yellow cards continuing the theme from Saturday’s live game. Even former Hull KR man Rob Mulhern joined the discussion.

Despite the controversy, Rovers fans were pleased to get the important win.

Unsurprisingly, some would have rather the Robins won easily. Instead, their heart took a beating in an end-to-end contest.
One day @hullkrofficial we’ll be able to watch a game without the threat of a heart attack…but a win is a win 😎 #slleihkr pic.twitter.com/FAlGi0PACZ

Let’s not take away from Leigh though. The Centurions gave it a huge go and very nearly claimed a first win of the season. Many felt sorry for them when they fell to defeat yesterday.
Feel sorry for Leigh there – really unlucky

They had a number of star performers on the night as well including Adam Sidlow who starred in both defence and attack.

Josh Eaves was another star for Leigh. The on loan hooker was superb and looks set for a huge future. However, focusing on the now, he’ll help Leigh finish the season strong before becoming a star of the Saints one day.
Josh Eaves looking pretty handy tonight 👏🏻 #slleihkr

But the match winner was of course Ryan Hall. He continued his fine season with a match winning try. That wasn’t enough for the former Leeds winger however as he took sealing the win to a whole new level by running backwards in the final play.
Imagine Ryan Hall tried a trick like that in the @OfficialNCL . I don’t think the whistle would have saved him if he was at Bradford Dudley Hill away 😂😂😂
