“I love this game me because it’s more than a sport” – Adam Hills stars in fantastic promotional video for Channel 4’s Super League coverage

Today marks the beginning of a new era in Super League as Channel 4 broadcasts it’s first game as eight-time Champions Leeds take on rivals Warrington Wolves.

A massive game in any season, the fact it’s the first Super League game to be shown live on free tv by Channel 4 makes it all the more special.

Both teams will want to rise to the occasion and claim a first win of the season with plenty of stories across the board with Daryl Powell taking charge of the Wolves for the first time against his former club whilst Leeds give debuts to three star signings as they look to return to glory in 2022.

In the end, it’s the stories that makes rugby league so special and that has been emphasised in a fantastic promotional video for Chanel 4’s coverage starring presenter Adam Hills.

A life long rugby league fan, he’s as excited as everyone about the new broadcast deal and spoke passionately about his love of the game and the stories it creates even looking back at the birth of the sport in the promotional video.

The video finished with a bang too with Adam Hills proclaiming “I love this game me because it’s more than a game, it’s rugby league.”
