Hunslet have completed the signing of former Leeds Rhinos academy graduate Harvey Hallas for the 2020 season.
The 22-year-old played for Dewsbury, Keighley and Coventry last season but found his progress stunted by shoulder surgery at the start of the season.
“I’ve played against Hunslet a few times in the last few years and I’ve always been impressed by their big and fearsome middles, typified by Zach Braham, who runs hard and straight,” he told the Hunslet website.
“I’m similar. My game’s about leg speed, hard drives and making yardage. You don’t get many frills from me, I leave the ball-handling skills to the backs!”
Hunslet have also confirmed the signings of former Bradford academy back rower Danny King, who was also at Dewsbury last season, and amateur star Danny Rowse from Hunslet Club Parkside.
