Hull KR’s stadium to be renamed in 2022

Hull KR have confirmed that the Hull College will continue to support the club after standing down from being principal stadium naming rights partners.

In a mutual agreement, Hull College will no longer be the stadium sponsor for 2022, shifting their focus instead into more community-based projects and work with the club.

Hull KR Chief Executive Paul Lakin is looking forward to continuing the partnership into 2022.

“We are pleased to continue our relationship with Hull College into 2022 and to retain them as our new West Stand partner. We appreciate priorities and circumstances change, so the mutual decision to evolve the partnership into something different than originally planned has allowed both parties to plan for the upcoming year with clarity.

We look forward to continuing our work with Hull College, we will realign our partnership plan to meet their new community-based objectives. As ever we look forward to providing opportunities for their staff and students to tap into the vast array of real-life work placements and experiences we can offer.”

Lowell Williams, Interim Principal & CEO of Hull College said: “We are pleased to continue our partnership with Hull KR which will see the college take a step back from sponsorship and an increased focused on our community learning and upskilling opportunities for both adults and young people in the East of our city.”
