Hull KR’s New Year’s Resolution

The new year is just days away and with it will come a new Super League season just seven weeks into the beginning of the latest chapter of human history.

A new year is a time when everyone looks to make a new start and make a change as they begin a new year.

This is why we get New Year’s Resolutions every year from so many people.

This desire for a new start shouldn’t be restricted to people though and could very well apply to Super League clubs.

So, what should Hull KR’s resolution be going into 2023?

As they have to sit and watch their former coach Tony Smith head over to the other side of the city, Hull KR have to make sure that 2021 under Smith was not a fluke.

That was one of the Robins’ best ever seasons and many of the stars who were at the heart of this success are still at the club ready to be moulded into something new by new Head Coach Willie Peters.

The Robins have to get back to those levels in 2023 and show that it wasn’t Tony Smith alone who was responsible for the success and was in fact a strong squad.
