Hull KR have named their provisional side for Tuesday night’s rearranged round two fixture against Warrington Wolves.
With the pair playing one less game than everyone else this season, that will be recrified this week, with Hull KR needing to postpone the game due to their involvement in the World Club Challenge.
A win for Wire would see them go two points behind leaders Leeds and Wigan, whilst victory for the Robins would put them six points clear of seventh-placed St Helens with four games to go.
The headline piece of team news this week is the returns of Arthur Mourgue and Mikey Lewis for KR. Lewis was expected to return from suspension, whilst Mourgue is a welcome boost after a pec injury.
There is still no Oliver Gildart for Willie Peters’ side, so he has the option of moving Jack Broadbent to the three-quarters for this game or continuing with Rhyse Martin. Young Louix Gorman is another option.
Sauaso Sue is back in contention after missing out against Catalans. The three players to drop out are Frankie Dearlove, Jack Charles and Noah Booth.
Warrington have not announced their squad yet, but we know that Cai Taylor-Wray won’t play on Tuesday due to his involvement in the reserves competition yesterday. The same goes with Lachlan Webster.
Sam Burgess confirmed his intentions for most of his 17 from Thursday’s win over York to back up on Tuesday, and that included captain George Williams, who returned to the side after a lengthy lay-off due to a neck injury.
