Hull KR vs Warrington Wolves: Kick-off time, TV channel and predicted line-ups

Tony Smith’s current club battle his former side as two teams who might not be that pleased with their starts to 2022 collide.

The Robins are ninth in the league with just two wins, a long way off the heights they reached last year. Still playing well in spells, they just need to find some consistency if they want to shoot up the table.

As for Warrington, they’ve lost four games in a row now and have been dumped out of the Challenge Cup due to consecutive defeats to Wakefield. Daryl Powell will be hoping to turn things around and fast.

Kick-off time and TV channel

The game kicks off at 20:00 at Craven Park.

There will be no TV coverage but highlights will be available on Super League’s YouTube channel and BBC’s Super League Show.

Predicted Line-ups

Hull KR
The big news for Hull KR is the return of Lachlan Coote. He’ll replace Will Dagger at fullback in a straight forward swap. There is a conundrum to be solved in the backs with Sam Wood and Jimmy Keinhorst playing well on the right whilst Ryan Hall is back after being rested last week with Ben Crooks returning in his place. With Hall virtually guaranteed to play, will Crooks be the unlucky one to miss out? Korbin Sims may also come back into the side to offer more size.

Warrington Wolves
There may also be a change at fullback for Warrington. It’s guaranteed to be one of Josh Thewlis or the returning Matty Ashton so it depends on who Daryl Powell would rather play on the wing and who he’d like to see on the wing. Jack Hughes’ return to the side will see Oliver Holmes at second-row with Hughes at 13 whilst Ellis Robson drops out of the team. Joe Bullock is back in the squad after his positive start to life at Warrington was halted by injury. Will he be ready to make what appears to be a premature return?
