Hull KR name unchanged squad but key signing remains absent after scary injury

Hull Kr

Hull KR head coach Willie Peters has named his 21-man squad ahead of their game against London Broncos this week.

It’s an unchanged side from the one that was named for their comprehensive victory over Hull FC in Rivals Round.

George King remains out with a hamstring injury that’s set to keep him out for six weeks.

Peters provided an update on his condition in the week: “Yeah, George is doing OK.

“It’s obviously early-ish, isn’t it? It’s only a couple of weeks since he’s had his injury, so he’s doing OK.

“He’s not running, obviously, and he’s not part of the team. But so far, so good with George.

“He’s doing everything he can.”

Oliver Gildart remains out of the squad after missing the Good Friday derby game due to a failed HIA.

Dean Hadley was a doubt due to a tight calf, and Joe Burgess was also a doubt, but both are named.

Tyrone May was forced off with a minor knock and his status may be unclear right up until the matchday squad is named.

Ben Reynolds remains in the squad after featuring for the first time last week.

Here’s their squad in full.
