Hull KR vs Leeds Rhinos: Kick-off time, TV channel and predicted line-ups

For the first time this season, Leeds occupy a place inside the top six and now that the destiny of a place in the finals is firmly in their hands.

Like the Rhinos, Hull KR will have experienced a timely boost of confidence with a win over Toulouse last week which has reignited their play-off hopes though a defeat against the Rhinos would be damning.

As for Leeds, they seem to be riding the crest of a wave at present with that wave called the Rohan Smith effect. They need to keep the ball rolling though if they’re to wrap up a play-off spot.

Kick-off time and TV channel

The game kicks off at 20:00.

TV coverage begins live on Sky Sports Arena from 19:30.

Predicted Line-ups

Hull KR
Even though Danny McGuire and his Hull KR side have had to contend with the bad news of losing Korbin Sims to a ban and Lachlan Coote’s return being pushed back a week, they could have three players back tonight including Leeds legend Ryan Hall. He, alongside the returning Kane Linnett could see the reunion of Hull KR’s famous left edge alongside skipper Shaun Kenny-Dowall. Mikey Lewis could also return though his comeback is not nailed on and should he remain absent Jez Litten will surely stay in the halves. Zach Fishwick will be promoted to the front row following Sims’ suspension whilst McGuire has a dilemma at fullback between Will Tate and Phoenix Laulu-Togaga’e. Could the latter’s recent injury sway things Tate’s way?

29 Phoenix Laulu-Togaga’e

Leeds Rhinos
Whilst Hull KR welcome back three players, Leeds have lost three with David Fusitu’a, Rhyse Martin and Aidan Sezer all banned. Fusitu’a’s absence is a simple fix as Liam Tindall will return to the right wing in his place as he did against Catalans. Martin meanwhile will be replaced by Morgan Gannon whose bench spot will likely go to former Hull KR loanee Muizz Mustapha. But the loss of Sezer may be more complicated. If Blake Austin is fit to return, he may take over from the former Huddersfield man. Otherwise, it could be youngsters Corey Johnson or Jack Sinfield. Cameron Smith has recently played there to great effect but that would open up another can of worms with another forward subsequently required were Rohan Smith to do that.
