Hull KR v Wakefield Trinity line-ups confirmed as key duo return for Robins

Hull KR

Hull KR head coach Willie Peters has seen two key men return from injury ahead of this evening’s clash with Wakefield Trinity.

The Robins will be looking to move six points clear at the top of the Super League table for 24 hours at least with a win tonight. Wakefield, on the other hand, can move back into the top six with a win against the odds and they’ll fancy their chances of doing just that after beating Wigan Warriors last time out.

KR are boosted by the return of Joe Burgess, who hasn’t featured in red and white since winning the Challenge Cup final earlier this month. He starts on the wing with former Wakefield youngster Noah Booth dropping out of the fold despite touching down last time out.

Rhyse Martin has also been deemed fit enough to start, with the Papua New Guinea international drafted straight into the back-row for tonight’s contest. He hasn’t featured since February after sustaining a quad injury.

Wakefield’s changes come in the pack, with Jay Pitts selected in the front-row in place of the injured Mathieu Cozza. Cam Scott comes into the back-row, while Josh Griffin moves to loose-forward.

Scott’s promotion to the starting line-up opens up a space for Josh Rourke to step onto the bench.
