St Helens boss Paul Wellens has settled on a wing solution for this evening’s clash with Hull KR.
The Saints come into the meeting with the Robins without Owen Dagnall and Kyle Feldt, who picked up injuries in the win over Hull FC last week. However, the head coach has brought Deon Cross back into the fold after seeing the former Salford Red Devils man return to full fitness in recent weeks.
On the other flank will be Tristan Sailor in a move that seems to settle his spine conundrum for one week at least. Sailor spent a period of the season on the wing after struggling in the halves and he’ll be keen to make an impact tonight.
The Saints team elsewhere is probably as expected, with Jack Welsby at full-back, the departing Moses Mbye at scrum-half and Joe Batchelor, Agnatius Passi and George Delaney set to come off the bench.
KR are without their two leading props with Sauaso Sue picking up an injury last time out at Leeds Rhinos, while Jared Waerea-Hargreaves serves the second and final game of this suspension.
Jai Whitbread has been passed fit to play though after picking up a knock at Headingley as well. He starts in the front-row alongside Dean Hadley, who recently signed a contract extension.
Bill Leyland and Eribe Doro are on the bench with the former potentially set to spell Litten, who has played a lot of minutes of late.
