Hull KR host Salford Red Devils tonight and Willie Peters has made his call on how best to replace Mikey Lewis in the halves.
The Man of Steel limped off in the win over Wakefield Trinity meaning that he is unavailable for tonight but the bigger problem will be if Tyrone May does not pass his fitness test.
May missed the game against Wakefield with a hamstring issue despite being named in the 21-man squad. He has once again been named in the 21-man squad but Willie Peters insisted that they had plans in place in case the ex-NRL man doesn’t pass fit. Those plans will come into action with May not named in the matchday 17.
Salford are having to navigate their trip to Craven Park without Joe Shorrocks after the loose forward copped a two-game ban, which rose to three upon a failed appeal, for his shot on Brodie Croft.
Shorrocks joins injured players such as Joe Mellor, Loghan Lewis, Ethan Ryan and Sam Stone on the sidelines for the Red Devils.

Tyrone May is not risked meaning that Danny Richardson is partnered with Peta Hiku who retains his role from last week when he paired with Mikey Lewis.
Hiku’s running threat was seen as a big asset by Willie Peters and that will likley remain the case whilst Richardson controls the game.
Richardson replacing Lewis is the only change that Hull KR have made with Jack Broadbent retaining his spot in the centres at the expense of half-back Hiku, whilst a bench of Litten, Hadley, Whitbread and Tanginoa is named again.

As for Salford, they’ve moved Chris Hill to loose forward with Jack Ormondroyd stepping into the prop role.
Their backs remain unchanged and Chris Atkin will play at hooker once again with utility back Chris Hankinson retaining his place on the bench once again.
Tiaki Chan moves from 18th man onto the bench whilst Joe Bullock also joins the squad with Shorrocks and Matty Foster the two to miss out.
