Hull KR host Salford Red Devils on Thursday night and the team news is now in for both sides with all eyes on Rovers’ half-backs.
Tyrone May missed the win over Wakefield Trinity on account of a hamstring injury whilst reigning Man of Steel Mikey Lewis limped off ten minutes after suffering an injury whilst scoring the go-ahead try.
Lewis left Belle Vue on crutches and with his foot in a boot with head coach Willie Peters confirming that the playmaker would need to go for a scan.
Prior to the game, Hull KR had recalled Danny Richardson from his loan deal with Huddersfield Giants on account of May’s injury but it seems near certain that he will play this week with both halves potentially out.
As for Salford, they lost 32-6 to Leeds Rhinos with their biggest loss being loose forward Joe Shorrocks to the disciplinary process. Shorrocks was sent to the sin bin for his tackle on Brodie Croft and was subsequently banned.
Both head coaches have named their 21-man squads now for the clash on Thursday.
Hull KR v Salford Red Devils squad news
Hull KR have been boosted by the fact that Tyrone May is fit enough to be named in the 21-man squad with his inclusion a major boost.
The only actual change to the squad is Danny Richardson instead of Mikey Lewis with the remainder of the squad unchanged, suggesting a largely unchanged side.
Should May not be fit then Hull KR have a number of options such as Jez Litten, Peta Hiku or even Jack Broadbent.

No star has “returned from injury”.
Tyrone May has been included in the squad in the hope he will be fit. That’s all.
