Hull KR will be without Joe Burgess for this afternoon’s derby clash against Hull FC at Craven Park. Burgess is thought to have picked up a slight injury and therefore has not been included for the Robins, who can all but seal the League Leaders’ Shield with a win over their rivals.
That means youngster Noah Booth gets the nod on the wing for Willie Peters’ side and he looks set to partner Jack Broadbent on the left wing. Rhyse Martin is suspended of course, but Jared Waerea-Hargreaves comes back in after serving his own two-match ban.
The prop starts and that’s a move that allows Dean Hadley to move into the back-row. Rovers are still without Sauaso Sue, Micky McIlorum and Oliver Gildart, too.
Rovers aren’t the only ones with injuries, though, with John Cartwright dealing with a raft of absentees with Herman Ese’ese and Ed Chamberlain dropping out from last week. Liam Watts has been passed fit, but there’s no Sam Eseh either, who continues to struggle with a hamstring injury.
Lloyd Kemp is the man named at full-back for his first start, while Tom Briscoe comes in on the wing, with Harvey Barron missing out with a head knock.
Jack Ashworth starts through the middle, while Zak Hardaker moves back to second-row, which is a position he has played for much of the season. Brad Fash, Will Gardiner, Matty Laidlaw and Callum Kemp make up what is a very inexperienced bench.
