Saturday night was a good one for Hull KR winger Tom Davies as he cleaned up at the club’s end-of-season awards night, at the end of which the club confirmed his new contract.
It’s been a difficult year for the Robins, particularly when put in contrast to 2025 when they dominated on every front, and few players can actually say they have had a better season than the last, however, Tom Davies is the exception.
Brilliant in 2025, the winger has hit new heights in 2026 with his incredible work rate not going unnoticed by those at the club. His work out of backfield is among the best in Super League and it’s seen him record the second-most metres of any player in the competition, but there was no coming second for Davies on Saturday night.
He won the three big awards presented to the men’s team and to cap off a brilliant night for him personally, the club also confirmed that he had signed a brand-new contract.
Initially contracted until the end of the 2027 season anyway, Davies has now signed a two-year extension to keep him at Craven Park until the end of 2029.

Tom Davies signs new Hull KR contract
That news was announced by the club at last night’s award ceremony and also via their social media, and it came right after he was confirmed as winning the evening’s biggest award.
Having already been voted as the Members’ Player of the Season and the Players’ Player of the Season, Davies was crowned as the Roger Millward Player of the Season – the club’s most prestigious award and it’s certainly deserved.
Playing in just his second season at Craven Park, Davies has endeared himself to the fans with his incredible work rate and metre-making, not to mention the fact that he was the man to help end 40 years of hurt by scoring the club’s sole try at Wembley in last year’s Challenge Cup Final.
Having played in 32 of the club’s 34 games last season, Davies has again been incredibly consistent and played in 32 again this season, only missing the games against Wigan and St Helens when Willie Peters heavily rotated his side.
As such, Davies will be fresh for the play-offs and he’ll look to celebrate his new contract next Saturday when Hull KR travel to face Warrington Wolves.
