Hull KR star accuses Hull FC player of testicle grab

Brad Fash Hull KR and Hull FC players fight at the MKM Stadium.

Hull KR star forward Elliot Minchella has accused Hull FC’s Brad Fash of grabbing his tecticles. The allegation comes after a hot-tempered Hull Derby which saw four players sin-binned.

Joe Burgess (KR) and Denive Balmforth (FC) were both handed yellow cards in the second half after a first-half confrontation led to Minchella and Fash hitting the sidelines also. During one of their incidents in the game, Fash has been accused of ‘underhand tactics’ by Minchella.

The KR player told the Hull Daily Mail: “It’s a tough game and it doesn’t need to be made any tougher by doing that. I think there’s a photo doing the rounds of me getting grabbed in a certain area of my body, which is unacceptable in my opinion.

“I knew about it straight away. I mean, I’m not the most blessed person, but you certainly feel it! Look, 100 per cent I felt it. I was a bit confused with the decision of the referee to give me a sin bin, but I think what happened—the incident—is totally unacceptable.”

Minchella said he told the referee but ‘he didn’t see it’. The Rovers man also accused Fash of biting him during a game in 2022. Fash was charged but found not guilty at a tribunal.

KR won the Super League clash 24-10 at the MKM Stadium on Saturday. The win moved the Robins 20 points clear of the Black and Whites.
