Hull KR signing makes determined statement about the role he wants to play under Willie Peters

James Batchelor has a new club in 2023 as he leaves Wakefield Trinity behind for Hull KR.
He is not the only new face at Craven Park in the new season, even the coach is new to things in the shape of Willie Peters who takes over at Tony Smith left and went on to join Hull FC.
Speaking on the club’s website, Batchelor revealed that Peters has been making pre-season tought:
“It’s been really tough, I think he’s spoken a lot in the press about World Class effort and he said if we give that he can’t complain.
“Definitely think it will suit me, I’m going to keep working hard and trying to make it easier for the people around me.”
Batchelor is also very determined to have a big impact at the club in 2023.
He wanted to play every game and despite playing in the middle wants to play every minute too as he went on to say: “I want to play every week and playing every well and ideally I want to be playing 80 minutes every game.”
That said he showed his commitment to the club when he said: “But whatever role I play I’ll give it my all.”
This proves that he is certainly committed to the wider vision at Hull KR.
