Hull KR have confirmed that Ajahni (AJ) Wallace and Lennie Ellis will both join Whitehaven RLFC on a two-week loan with immediate effect.
In a short club statement, KR said: “Both Ellis and Wallace will be available for Whitehaven’s trip to Featherstone on Sunday. Both have consistently featured for the Robins’ Reserves side and have helped take five wins from six games so far in the side’s 2024 Reserves season.
“We wish Lennie and Ajahni the best of luck for their two-week loan spell.”
Lennie Ellis moved from half-back to hooker last season, impressing in his new role, and will turn 19 in just a few days.
He made a first-team debut against Wigan Warriors last year, as a depleted side lost 64-6.
That was, however, his only first-team appearance to date.

Ajahni Wallace, formerly of Leeds Rhinos and Bradford Bulls, joined Hull KR ahead of this campaign.
The 21-year-old burst on to the scene in 2022 with the Bulls in the RFL Championship, scoring on his debut in a 46-16 victory over Dewsbury Rams and making nineteen appearances in his maiden season.
This earned him a spot in Jamaica’s World Cup squad for the delayed 2021 edition, and he started against Ireland, New Zealand and Lebanon – although they failed to win a game.
He remained a key man for the Bulls at second row in 2023, making 24 appearances as the side made it to the semi-final of the Championship where they fell to Toulouse Olympique.
He has played two games on loan for Featherstone Rovers this season – playing against former side Bradford Bulls against Sheffield Eagles in a narrow 18-16 defeat at the Olympic Legacy Park Stadium.
Now, alongside Ellis, he’ll look to help Whitehaven away at former side Featherstone Rovers at 3pm on Sunday, before they host Toulouse Olympique next week.
