Hull KR reveal attendance figures with huge 10,000+ average

Hull KR

Hull KR are often maligned by rival fans for not releasing their attendance figures at each game, instead opting to reveal them as part of their three-monthly review which has now come.

It has revealed that the Robins are actually one of the best-supported teams in Super League with their attendance figures continuing to be incredibly impressive, boosted by the fact that they have recorded home sellouts in every one of their home games this season.

That’s a record that dates back to last year against Salford and is part of the reason why the club have been able to make Craven Park such a fortress, losing just once so far in 2024. That defeat was a narrow 22-20 loss to Warrington Wolves in Round Four but since then Hull KR have won eight on the spin at home.

The attendance figures for the last five of those games has now been confirmed following the club’s Supporters meeting and it shows that an average of over 10,000 fans watched each game with that magic figure being surpassed in three of the five clashes. The attendance figures can be viewed at the bottom of the article.

Hull KR aren’t far off being the best team in Super League full stop, but then they’re at home, they’re a force to be reckoned with. Under Willie Peters, the club have lost just four home games with two of those at the hands of Warrington and another against Wigan in golden point.

In their eight home games in Super League this season, KR have won seven whilst scoring just shy of 30 points a game and conceding 11.5 points on average. Only St Helens and Catalans have a better defensive record at home, whilst no side has scored more points at home.

The most recent five home games that the attendance figures have been revealed for, missing last week’s win over Huddersfield Giants, saw the Robins win by an aggregate scoreline of 162- 40.

It’s also seen crowds of over 10,000 on three occasions with the club’s season-high home attendance actually coming against London Broncos. That’s been explained due to the fact that there was no supporter segregation for that game in the North stand, meaning tickets were sold to home supporters who therefore helped pack in 10,201.

That eclipses the Good Friday derby crowd of 10,150 as well and helps contribute to an average home attendance of 10,073 in the past five games.

The daft thing is there’s room for growth at kr just not enough space at the moment. How much is a different question. Very few sides in superleague that fill put their ground and bring a sizeable following away as well.
