The teams are in for this afternoon’s Super League clash between Bradford Bulls and Hull KR, as the Robins travel to Odsal on the hunt for their fifth straight win.
This game, which can be watched for free on Super League+, forms part of round nine, and is one of two matches to be played today with Wakefield Trinity and St Helens’ tie being a mouthwatering clash later on.
Whilst KR have won their last four, Bradford have lost their last three, and with injuries mounting are currently doing it incredibly tough.
The club had to bring in academy Harvey Ward and Super League veteran Greg Eden to their initial side this week, as they look to find bodies fit enough to take on the World Champions.
The Robins had an injury blow themselves last time out, with Oliver Gildart going down to a knock against Toulouse. As a result he has missed out on selection this week.
In what is a surprise change, another key man, Joe Burgess, has been left out of the side, and it is currently unconfirmed whether it is due to injury or selection.
Bradford Bulls v Hull KR team news:
Starting with the home side, injuries elsewhere means that Ethan Ryan begins at full-back. The former KR man is usually a winger, but Caleb Aekins has been forced into the halves, creating a butterfly effect of changes.
Partnering Aekins in the halves is Chris Atkin, who is currently the only fit half-back at the club. The aforementioned Eden features on the wing, as he represents his fourth different Super League club.
The absence of Andy Ackers means Mitch Souter will start at hooker, whilst Dan Russell features at centre in place of Esan Marsters.
Will Gardiner will make his debut after signing for the club in the off-season, as does academy graduate Jamie Gill.
Opponents KR have made two changes with Joe Burgess surprisingly not included in the side.
A very different left edge sees Rhyse Martin and Noah Booth replace the former Wigan pair.
