Hull KR lose star man inside three minutes of Challenge Cup Final

Hull KR have been dealt an early blow with Dean Hadley leaving the field in the opening minutes of the Challenge Cup Final.

Hadley was initially a concern going into this game after suffering a hamstring issue last week against Wigan in Super League.

He was passed fit to play this week, but now he has suffered a separate issue after leaving the field for a HIA just three minutes into the contest. Following the assessment, it has been confirmed that he will not return after failing the HIA.

At the time, both sides were going set-for-set, with both the Robins and Wigan feeling each other out. Wigan were in possession coming out of back field, before Hadley got his head in the wrong position when trying to build pressure.

Luckily for the Robins, Rhyse Martin is on the bench and can fill that spot, but the loss of Hadley is a major blow for the Robins, especially in a game where the conditions are hot so pack rotation will be key this afternoon.
