The final four of the 1895 Cup have been finalised, with each side only one win away from a trip to Wembley Stadium in June.
Bradford Bulls, Featherstone Rovers, Oldham RLFC and York Knights all won in their home ties to make it into the semi-final draw, which will take place on Sunday 13th April, with the games due to be played on the weekend of 17th May.
In the standout tie of the round, Oldham’s new loan signing Nene MacDonald got off to a winning start in his debut as his side beat Barrow Raiders 38-24.
A hat-trick from Hull KR loanee Phoenix Laulu-Togaga’e and a brace from Jack Johnson saw Oldham run in seven tries in beating their fellow Championship competitors.
York Knights had the best performance of the weekend with a 39-6 victory over Widnes Vikings.
A vintage Paul McShane performance inspired the home side and new signing Scott Galeano scored two tries on his York debut.
Featherstone Rovers might be struggling in the Championship so far this season but they put on an impressive display to beat London Broncos 34-6.
Fullback Caleb Aekins grabbed himself a hat-trick and Jayden Hatton scored a brace in a better overall performance for Rovers.
To round out the 1895 Cup quarter-finals, Bradford Bulls hosted Sheffield Eagles, coming out 36-20 winners.
The Bulls came from 6-8 down at half-time to put in a superb second-half display with five tries to secure their spot in the final four.
In League 1, Midlands Hurricanes continued their impressive start to 2025 with a 46-12 victory over mid-table Dewsbury Rams.
Whitehaven moved up to second with an emphatic 66-6 win against Newcastle Thunder and Workington Town snagged a 34-24 away win at Rochdale Hornets.
It wasn’t to be for new Keighley Cougars coach Alan Kilshaw against his former side Swinton Lions as the Lions grabbed an 18-14 win at Cougar Park and the home side remain winless in League 1.

It’s about time any club who loan out players are stopped from getting loan players in. Loan players should also be season long not short term like is happening. Salford could now loan out players and get them back to hopefully win certain matches like already done.
