Hull FC star Jake Connor has been named Super League Player of the Month for March.
The Black and Whites’ electric full-back fought off competition from fellow nominees Jai Field (Wigan Warriors) Tony Gigot (Toulouse Olympique), Mason Lino (Wakefield Trinity), Joe Westerman (Castleford Tigers), and Mike McMeeken (Catalans Dragons).
Connor continued his fine form into March that saw him claim February’s Getextra Hull FC Player of the Month award – he bagged Man of the Match awards in wins over Huddersfield and Leeds, scoring twice in the latter at Headingley Stadium.
As well as five assists and an impressive 12 tackle busts to add to an eye-catching set of stats, Connor has been nominated for the club’s Player of the Month once again for March.
He is also currently fourth in the Steve Prescott MBE Man of Steel voting for the 2022 season, having accumulated six points across the campaign so far.
Connor was, however, on the receiving end of a Challenge Cup Quarter-Final loss to Huddersfield Giants last weekend as the Black and Whites succumbed to yet another disappointing defeat.
