Chris Satae has taken Super League by storm since moving to the MKM Stadium back in August 2019.

The rampaging prop forward quickly earned a reputation for his devastating running style and hard-hitting defence, and, he is set to be joined by another NRL forward in the same ilk in Kane Evans.

Evans hasn’t yet appeared for pre-season, with the Fijian international prop set to link up with his new side soon.

But, Satae has played against Evans in the past and is now glad to be running alongside him for the Black and Whites in 2022.

“Me and Ligi have played against Kane a couple of times back home and he’s a very physical bloke” Satae told the Hull FC website.

“You can see that he wears his heart on his sleeve and you can certainly see that in the way he plays.

“I’m looking forward to playing alongside him – he’s going to add a different dimension to the already strong pack we have here at the club.”

Brett Hodgson has tried to rebuild his side following a disappointing end to the 2021 campaign, where FC lost nine of their last ten games.

The likes of Joe Lovodua, Evans, Darnell McIntosh and Luke Gale have come through the doors at the MKM Stadium as the Black and Whites prepare for a much-improved 2022.
