Hull FC’s Challenge Cup fixture against Sheffield Eagles to be played at surprising venue

Details for Hull FC’s Betfred Challenge Cup Sixth Round clash against Sheffield Eagles have been confirmed.

The Black & Whites will take on the Betfred Championship side at Featherstone’s Millennium Stadium on Saturday 26th March, with a 2.00pm kick-off.

The fixture, a home match for the Eagles, will be played in West Yorkshire due to Sheffield’s new home ground at the Olympic Legacy Park not being completed yet.

FC have twice visited Featherstone in the cup in recent seasons, with victories over Rovers in 2018 and 2021, but it will be the Eagles who are this year’s opposition.

The Black & Whites, who fell narrowly short of reaching the Challenge Cup Final in last year’s competition with a narrow defeat to St Helens, will be hoping to reach the Quarter-Final stage of competition for the eighth year in a row.
